MANILA, Philippines — It will be fair weather in the entire archipelago at least until the end of the month as the state-run weather agency has not monitored any tropical cyclones or low pressure areas in the coming days.
Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said three weather systems -- northeast monsoon locally known as 'amihan,' the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and localized thunderstorms -- are bringing isolated or scattered rain showers in some areas of the country.
