CEBU City has issued a stern warning to business establishments to comply with environmental regulations or risk losing their operating permits, as a stricter ordinance is set to take effect in January 2025.

The Cebu City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CCenro) announced that penalties for businesses failing to meet requirements will begin in the first month of 2025, following the adoption of City Ordinance 2754, which amends the Sustainable Development Ordinance.
