LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Almost half of Pangasinan's P7.1 billion budget for 2025 will be spent for social services, which include health and education.

A copy of the of the appropriation ordinance obtained by The Manila Times over the weekend indicates that P3.03 billion or 42.71 percent of the budget was appropriated for social services, while general services will have a share of P2.68 billion or 37.75 percent, with economic services getting P1.39 billion or 19.54 percent.
