The 17th batch of Filipino nurse and certified careworker candidates under the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA) has officially begun their Preparatory Japanese Language Training.

In the opening ceremony, Japanese Ambassador Kazuya Endo expressed his gratitude to the candidates for choosing Japan as the destination for their future aspirations. He added that Japan would be greatly honored to experience the warmth, professionalism, and support Filipino healthcare workers bring to their roles.
