Obiena opens pole vaulting facility in Laoag

Two-time Olympian Ernest John Obiena opened his first pole vault facility at the Marcos Stadium in Laoag City on Saturday.

In a post on his social media platforms, Obiena cited the proverb 'Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime' as his inspiration for this facility.
