De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde dethroned San Beda University after scoring a 79-63 victory in the NCAA Season 100 men's basketball Final Four at the Cuneta Astrodome on Saturday.
Armed with a twice-to-beat incentive as the number two seed, the Blazers jumped on the third seed Red Lions and finished strong to enter the Finals, where they will face the Mapua Cardinals.
The top seed Cardinals defeated the fourth seed Lyceum Pirates in the other semifinal match, 89-79.
Tony Ynot logged 17 points, four assists, and three rebounds for Saint Benilde which ended the first frame with a 25-14 lead and led by as many as 30 points, 70-40, en route to victory.
