TOURISM Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco formally announced that the Philippines will host the inaugural Terra Madre Asia Pacific next year in Bacolod City, which has been designated as the Slow Food International Hub for Asia Pacific.
Terra Madre is a vital part of Slow Food, a global grassroots group created in 1989 to preserve food cultures and traditions, oppose fast-paced lifestyles, and reconnect people with the food they eat.
