THE Angeles City government was cited for the first time as the Best LGU Dog Pound/Animal Shelter by the Department of Agriculture (DA) Field Office 3.
The city under Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. was cited behind its free spay and neuter program which was successfully concluded. A total of 1,744 pets were spayed or neutered without any untoward incidents.
