(UPDATE) KYIV — Ukraine said on Thursday that Moscow launched overnight an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) targeting the city of Dnipro in the country's central-east, which, if confirmed, would be the first time Russia has used such a weapon in the nearly three-year war.
In a statement on the Telegram messaging app, Ukraine's air force did not specify the exact type of missile, but said it was launched from Russia's Astrakhan region, which borders the Caspian Sea.
