New Zealand head coach Judd Flavel said the Tall Blacks had no one but themselves to blame for letting the game "slide away" from their grasp during Thursday night's 93-89 defeat to Gilas Pilipinas in the second window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Tall Blacks led by eight points in the opening period and were doing well through the early part of the third quarter before the Philippine team unleashed a crippling 16-0 run.
