THE House of Representatives has launched its "Tabang Bicol, Tindog Oragon" program that would provide substantial aid to Bicol residents affected by the recent typhoons.

Under the leadership of Speaker Martin Romualdez, some 150,000 beneficiaries in the region are set to receive nearly P850 million worth of aid, which includes food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), financial support through the Integrated Shelter Assistance Program (Idsap) of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), and the DSWD's Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.
