MANILA, Philippines — Cignal outplayed Chery Tiggo, 25-19, 20-25, 25-18, 25-21, for its second win in as many games in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Dawn Macandili took care of Cignal's floor defense with 23 excellent digs and six excellent receptions.
Ces Molina, meanwhile, took care of the scoring for the HD Spikers with 13 points, while Vanie Gandler and Riri Meneses churned out 12 points each.
Cignal showed efficiency in the service lane, tallying 10 points as Gel Cayuna and Judith Abil made five, each.
'Hopefully in our next game we can improve more of our skills, we hope that we can work on our blocking, that's our weakness. Chery Tiggo is a veteran team, and we hope that we can improve when it comes to blocking,' Cignal head coach Shaq Delos Santos said.
Chery Tiggo, on the other hand, relied on Ara Galang's 13-point performance as Seth Rodriguez and Ces Robles added 12 points apiece.
