CEBU CITY — Delinquent real property taxpayers can heave a sigh of relief as the city government rolls out a two-year amnesty on penalties and surcharges, providing much-needed reprieve for those with unpaid dues.
Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia issued Executive Order 22 to implement Republic Act 12001, or the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act, which was signed into law on July 5.
