Alarcon scores 33 as UP stalls UE's Final Four bid

Harold Alarcon poured a career-best 33 points as University of the Philippines outplayed University of the East, 77-67, in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Center on Wednesday.

The second seed Fighting Maroons improved to 11-3 in the team standings and denied the Red Warriors (6-8) an outright Final Four berth.
