CEBU CITY — A Mandaue City official has raised concern about the city's plan to allocate P16 million for next year's city hall Christmas activities, which include a holiday party and the distribution of hams to city hall employees.
Vice Mayor Nerissa Soon-Ruiz, who assumed her current post after Glenn Bercede was elevated to full-fledged mayor following the dismissal of Mayor Jonas Cortes, questioned the substantial increase in the Christmas budget during a council session last Monday.
