BBM hopes for 'just, lasting peace' as Ukraine-Russian war enters 1,000th day

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday expressed hope for a 'comprehensive, just and lasting peace' as Ukraine's war with Russia reached its 1,000th day.

In a statement posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Marcos tagged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and reiterated his administration's support to its 'valued partner.'
