JUSTICE Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, through the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), announced the release of 509 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) as part of the government's jail decongestion efforts.
The release also coincided with the observance of the 30th National Correctional Consciousness Week (NCCW), highlighting reforms in the country's correctional system.
