Setting new standards in all-terrain and rugged-terrain performance
FALKEN Tire, in partnership with JM Far East Inc., its exclusive distributor in the Philippines, has launched two highly anticipated models in its Wildpeak lineup: the A/T4W and R/T01. Designed with cutting-edge advancements in durability, traction and versatility, the new models raise the bar in all-terrain and rugged-terrain tire performance, providing options tailored for adventurers, off-road enthusiasts, and everyday drivers.
The A/T4W builds upon the success of theA/T3W, offering improved all-terrain capability and on-road comfort. Falken engineers have increased mileage by up to 20 percent, creating a tire that can tackle tough terrains while delivering a quieter, smoother ride for highway driving. Known for its exceptional traction, the A/T4W maintains Falken's reputation for reliable all-terrain tires. Its design features an HD marking on LT sizes, tailored for heavy-duty use, and an advanced tread pattern that maximizes grip on diverse surfaces like gravel, dirt and sand. The new rubber compound extends tire longevity and enhances ride comfort, while an upgraded tread rigidity improves towing capabilities compared to the previous A/T3W model. Select sizes of the A/T4W come equipped with Falken's proprietary 3-Ply Duraspec Sidewall Technology, providing extra durability in rough conditions and protecting the sidewalls from damage on rocky surfaces. The staggered shoulder blocks add traction on rugged off-road terrain, while heat diffuser technology disperses heat within the tire, increasing stability. Drivers also have the choice of dual lettering designs on the sidewall, with serrated letters on one side and raised solid letters on the other. Falken backs the A/T4W with a 5-year warranty from the purchase date, giving drivers added assurance in its durability. In the rugged-terrain category, Falken introduced the R/T01, a high-performance tire that caters to lifted trucks, SUVs, and powerful diesel pickups. This model features a hybrid terrain tread pattern, combining the aggressive off-road grip of a mud-terrain (M/T) tire with the stability, longevity, and on-road control of an all-terrain (A/T) tire. This blend makes the R/T01 ideal for drivers who alternate between highways and rugged landscapes. Designed as a professional off-road (POR) tire, it includes an HD marking for heavy-duty applications and Falken's signature 3-Ply Duraspec Sidewall Technology in select sizes, adding durability on rocky and uneven surfaces. The aggressive tread pattern of the T/T01incorporates extra-deep grooves for exceptional grip on challenging terrain, while the tectonic tread blocks with step-down support increase block stiffness for stability, grip, and a longer tread life. The high contact-ratio center section provides added rubber-road contact for better on-road handling, while offset shoulder blocks with integrated stone ejectors prevent rocks from embedding in the tread, enhancing overall performance. The upper sidewall is reinforced for protection against sharp rocks and improves grip on loose and inclined surfaces. Designed for both off-road performance and high-speed stability, the R/T01 is also covered by a 5-year warranty. 'We're thrilled to expand the Wildpeak line with these two groundbreaking models, demonstrating JM Far East, Inc.'s commitment to this crucial segment of the automotive industry,' said Winston Manabat, President of JM Far East Inc. 'The Wildpeak A/T4W and R/T01 are designed for today's drivers who value durability, versatility, and the confidence to take on any road. These tires are not only built to last but to deliver a high-quality experience, whether for daily commuting or extreme off-road adventures.' The Falken Wildpeak A/T4W and R/T01 are available in a variety of sizes, making them compatible with SUVs, crossover utility vehicles, light trucks, and off-road vehicles. Both models can be purchased from authorized Falken Tire retailers nationwide or online.
