MANILA, Philippines— The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) lifted storm signal in Metro Manila as Typhoon Pepito weakened prior to its exit Monday.
The typhoon was spotted 145 kilometers (kms) west of Sinait, Ilocos Sur packing maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph.
