If there's one celebrity who embodies the vibrant and resilient spirit of the Bisaya people — those native to the Visayas, southern Luzon, and parts of Mindanao — it is no other than actress, comedian, and host Melai Cantiveros.

Born in General Santos City, Mindanao, Cantiveros first captured the nation's attention in 2009 when she won "Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up." It was also where she met her husband, fellow housemate Jason Francisco. Today, they are proud parents to two daughters, Mela and Stela.
