MANILA, Philippines— Life-threatening conditions continue over the eastern section of Southern Luzon as Super Typhoon Pepito was forecast to make landfall over Quezon or Aurora, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
In its 5 a.m. bulletin, Pagasa said Signal No. 5 was up over the eastern portion of Polillo Islands (Patnanungan and Jomalig) and Calaguas Islands in Luzon.
