UP ends 2-game skid, boots out FEU

MANILA, Philippines — University of the Philippines (UP) ended its two-game slide as it booted out Far Eastern University (FEU) with an 86-78 win in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Center on Saturday.

JD Cagulangan poured nine of UP's last 11 points to lead the Final Four-bound Fighting Maroons, who rose to 10-3 for second place in the standings.
