Cone hopeful Boatright can play for Gilas Pilipinas in February

TIM Cone admitted that American forward Bennie Boatright's naturalization process has hit a snag, owing to the many issues that the Philippine government has faced in the past few months.

Sen. Sonny Angara, who serves as chairman of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) and concurrently heading the Department of Education, filed Senate Bill 2646 which seeks to grant Filipino citizenship to the 6-foot-10 Boatwright in May 2024.
