SAN VICENTE, Palawan — Vice Mayor Donaldo 'Dondon' Hontiveros said he merely followed the legal advice of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in taking his present position and that he would only resign through a legal process.
'I had reservations about assuming the vice mayor position. However, the DILG advised me that it was necessary for me to take the oath,' said Hontiveros on Wednesday, Nov. 13, during his privilege speech at the City Council session.
