Gilas Pilipinas coach Tim Cone welcomed the return of Ginebra guard Scottie Thompson to the national squad, which kicked off its preparation for the second window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers on Friday at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna.
The 31-year-old Thompson was already back in the grind on day 1 of training camp in Laguna, just about a week after Barangay Ginebra bowed to TNT in the PBA Governors' Cup Finals.
