PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led on Thursday the distribution of more than P45 million in financial assistance to farmers and fishermen affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine and Super Typhoon Leon in Oriental Mindoro.
Joined by Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Jonvic Remulla and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian, Marcos distributed a cash aid of P10,000 each to 4,546 farmers and fishermen.
