TABONTABON, Leyte — The local government here has secured a loan from Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) to finance its various infrastructure and development projects and improve the delivery of basic services to its constituents.
Mayor Efren Diaz Redoña told The Manila Times that the loan proposal was approved by the Sangguniang Bayan in 2019 but he opted not to have it released as it was election time.
