FILIPINOS eagerly watched the outcome of the recent American presidential elections where Donald Trump hammered out a convincing victory against Vice President Kamala Harris to become the incoming 47th President of the United States.

Filipinos were paying attention because when the United States sneezes, the Philippines catches a cold. The outcome of the American presidential elections has tremendous ramifications for the Philippines, which is why Filipinos are divided into those who wanted Trump to become victorious and those who pushed for a Harris triumph. In the end, Trump won.
