MORE than P160 billion has been added to the 2024 national budget, which was close to hitting P6.0 trillion as of end-October based on data from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
The outlay ballooned to P5.93 trillion from P5.83 trillion via P164.08 billion in new unprogrammed appropriations.
