BACOLOD CITY — The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) created Task Group Kanlaon to closely monitor the restive volcano and ensure that disaster response measures are in place.
Newly designated Office of Civil Defense-Negros Island Region Director Donato Sermeno III chairs the task force with Raul Fernandez, OCD Western Visayas regional director, and the Central Visayas regional directors as vice chairmen.
