CEBU CITY — Lawyer Mikel Rama, son of dismissed Cebu City mayor Michael Rama, has defended his law office against allegations that it received P100 million in donations intended for the long-delayed construction of the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) public hospital.

The lawyer clarified on Monday that the office did not receive any funds and that, he added, it acted only as attorney-in-fact in a trust agreement on behalf of the donor.
