DoST aims for breakthrough drugs

ILOILO CITY — The Philippine Council for Health Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DoST-PCHRD) is advancing drug discovery and health innovation by supporting research projects on the country's rich marine biodiversity.

The DoST-PCHRD featured three key research and development projects that use marine resources for health solutions, including antibiotic discovery, cancer prevention and functional food development in the Talakayang HeaRT Beat conference in this city on Wednesday.
