NU stops La Salle, ends season on a winning note

MANILA, Philippines — National University stopped De La Salle University's 9-game winning streak, earning a 63-54 win at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion on Wednesday to end its UAAP Season 87 men's basketball campaign on a high note.

PJ Palacielo racked up 16 points and eight rebounds to lead the Bulldogs, who finished the eliminations with a 5-9 slate, seventh in the standings.
