CEBU CITY — The Office of the Ombudsman has suspended six officials from the Larena town in Siquijor for one year without pay due to procurement violations involving a rice purchase deal in 2018 worth P198,000.
The suspended officials were Municipal Budget Officer Clifford Quilicot, Municipal Planning and Development Officer Engr. Rito Abapo, Municipal Agriculturist Jore Arcaya, Municipal Engineer Engr. Cristino Sister Jr., Municipal Treasurer Elison Calibo, and BAC-TWG member Michael Arayan.
