Libyan falconers showcase their talents with the birds of prey in a two-day contest for falcons in the eastern town of Jardina, in southwestern Benghazi. Organizers say the contest is the first of its kind in the country, with advanced equipment calculating the speed of the birds, as part of the Libya Heritage Carnival. The carnival includes various activities like contests for camels and equestrianism, in an effort to revive traditional and heritage sports, organizers say.
