MANILA, Philippines — The PLDT High Speed Hitters asserted its mastery over the Nxled Chameleons, 25-15, 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, to open its PVL 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference campaign with a victory at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Tuesday.
PLDT opened the match with guns ablaze but the Chameleons fought back and claimed the third frame.
The High Speed Hitters, then, regrouped and opened the fourth frame with a 17-8 rally.
Nxled retaliated with a 6-2 run to cut PLDT's lead down to 19-14.
