BUREAU of Corrections Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. has called on the National Economic and Development Authority to include BuCor's penal facilities in Mindoro in the Luzon Economic Corridor, a key initiative aimed at boosting regional economic growth and sustainability.
Catapang, on BuCor's 119th Founding Anniversary celebration on Monday, outlined plans to transform two major prison farms into vital economic assets for the country.
