MANILA, Philippines -- While Severe Tropical Storm "Nika" is expected to exit in 12 hours, another weather disturbance called Tropical Storm "Ofel"has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.
Weather specialist Rhea Torres of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Ofel, however, has no direct effect yet in the country.
