PH, Poland boost legal cooperation

THE Philippines and Poland have concluded the second round of negotiations for the proposed Agreement on Transfer of Sentenced Persons and launched initial discussions on a proposed Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Department of Justice (DoJ) said the discussions took place in Manila from Nov. 5 to 7, underscoring the countries' shared commitment to combat transnational crime and strengthen judicial cooperation.
