In the offseason, it was projected that the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers were going to challenge the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference for the 2025 Larry O'Brien trophy. With a few games already played, the balance of power is slowly shifting to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Expectations were high for the 76ers after their acquisition of Paul George to team-up with former MVP Joel Embiid and rising star Tyrese Maxey. However, the injury bug has hit Embiid and George once again and they have missed their initial games. Milwaukee, meanwhile, despite their two superstars Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, are faltering since the two Hall-of-Famers are not getting the help needed from their fellow starters and bench players.
