MANILA, Philippines — Colegio de San Juan de Letran kept its playoff bid alive after outlasting defending champion San Beda University, 75-71, in the NCAA 100 men's basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Sunday.

Letran improved to an 8-9 win-loss card, trailing behind Emilio Aguinaldo College (8-8), and Lyceum of the Philippines University (8-8) for a final four spot.
