The Office of the Special Assistant to the President (OSAP), headed by Secretary Antonio Lagdameo, has expressed its strong support for Senate Bill 2862, which seeks to reset the first regular elections for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The proposed measure responds to a recent Supreme Court ruling that excluded the Province of Sulu from the BARMM, raising significant legal and logistical challenges for the upcoming elections.
