ILOILO CITY — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Region 6 (LTFRB-6) announced that it could no longer accept additional members in this city for the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP) amid the reopening of applications for public utility vehicle (PUV) consolidation.

LTFRB-6 legal officer Salvador Altura said Iloilo City had 'long been detached from the consolidation process' and would no longer have additional consolidation since it already had an approved and fully implemented enhanced Local Public Transport Route Plan since May 2024.
