CEBU CITY — The Office of the Building Official (OBO) issued 700 violation notices to firms across the city from January to October this year as it intensified its construction safety oversight.
OBO head Florante Catalan reported that approximately 469 notices were for unauthorized construction without permits, while 278 addressed infractions of the National Building Code (Presidential Decree 1096).
