Tacloban City — The city government of Tacloban held a simple ceremony on Friday at the mass grave inside the Holy Cross Memorial Gardens in memory of the thousands of individuals who died during the onslaught of Super Typhoon Yolanda (International Name: Haiyan) 11 years ago.

Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez stated that the city government will continue to commemorate the tragic event each year and hoped that the people would be eager to follow orders in order to be safe from disasters and calamities as the climate has changed.
