THE Philippines has joined 150 other countries that affirmed their commitment to establishing a labor system that ensures fair and safe working conditions for all Filipino workers.
Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma said on Wednesday that the government's Instrument of Ratification for the International Labor Organization (ILO) Convention 81 was presented during the 352nd Session of the ILO Governing Body held Tuesday, Nov. 4, in Geneva, Switzerland.
