AUSTAL'S new chairman, Richard Spencer, remains committed to innovation and strategic partnerships, building on the pivotal leadership of his predecessor, John Rothwell.
Spencer, former secretary of the Navy, acknowledged Rothwell's contributions. "Austal's accomplishments in Australia and overseas are largely due to your foresight, drive, determination, and strategic approach," he said during the 2024 Shareholders Annual General Meeting.
