Public school padlocked in land dispute

CEBU CITY — An elementary school in Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City, was allegedly padlocked on All Saints' Day by the family who claims ownership of the land, raising concerns about student safety and the potential impact on school operations due to an ongoing dispute over the one-hectare lot.

Reports said that the family locked the school's gate, asserting that the property where the public school stands is private.
