MANILA, Philippines — 'It's Showtime' host Ion Perez announced his withdrawal from the race for councilor in Concepcion, Tarlac, in the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.

Perez confirmed the news via TikTok video on Monday where he apologized to his supporters.
