FIRST Gen Corp. (First Gen) said Friday that it had signed an agreement with HCG's Philippine subsidiary, Hocheng Philippines Corp. (HCG Philippines), to build a solar power facility for a manufacturing plant in Cavite.

First Gen and its sister company, Pi Energy Inc., will build the 660-kilowatt solar plant within HCG's 10-hectare facility in Dasmariñas in Cavite.
